Formerly Main Beach’s Next Top Dogel, our first year at Sanctuary Cove was bigger than ever, bringing together hundreds of dogs, their owners and the local community for a day of fun, competition, markets and plenty of furry chaos.

We’re excited to build on the first year and make 2027 even bigger and better — with new categories, new experiences and plenty of opportunities for your four-legged friends to take centre stage.

    • 🚶 When the Harmony Early Education Grand Parade begins, join the Dog Walk and parade your pup.

    • 🎟️ As you complete the Dog Walk, you'll receive one raffle ticket.

    • 🎁 Stay for the prize draw – the winner will be drawn on the day.

    • ✅ No pre-registration is required.

    • ✅ You must be present at the event to claim the prize if your ticket is drawn.

Micaela is an animal lover and a long-time supporter of dog rescue organisations. She is the proud mum of Remi, my American Staffy, and foster mum to Biggie. She has a special soft spot for dogs that are often overlooked and simply need a little extra love, patience and care.

  • In the streets of Sanctuary Cove

  • There is plenty of free parking throughout the community village.

  • No, there are no road closures.

  • Make sure you check out a range of market stalls. The market stalls will be open from 10-2.30pm with a range of products for sale including dog treats, dog clothing, pet accessories and many other amazing products.

  • ABSOLUTELY! Attendees can bring their pets as it’s an open space but please ensure they’re in your control and on leads at all times.

  • If you find or lose something – please go to the Ray White tent on the day. After the event, any lost property will be kept at Ray White Sanctuary Cove office for 21 days.

  • Yes, photographers and videographers may be present and by attending this event, you consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, or reproduction of the photographs and/or recordings without restriction or compensation. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should not enter the event zone.
