After a short break, we’re thrilled to welcome back Next Top Dogel 🐾
Formerly Main Beach’s Next Top Dogel, the event has been rebranded as Gold Coast’s Next Top Dogel and will debut at an exciting new location — Sanctuary Cove.

Set in a beautiful, spacious environment, Sanctuary Cove offers the perfect backdrop for a fun-filled, family-friendly day. While we know the new location may not be ideal for everyone, following our office restructure we’re excited to bring you an even bigger, better and more vibrant event — and to welcome plenty of new doggies to the competition!

All entrant images will be judged and narrowed down to a Top 6 in each category, who will then parade on the big day to vie for the coveted Next Top Dogel Crown at our parade event on 15th August at 10am. Let the strutting begin! 🐕✨

    • 🐶 Simply bring your dog along to Gold Coast's Next Top Dogel.

    • 🚶 When the Harmony Early Education Grand Parade begins, join the Dog Walk and parade your pup.

    • 🎟️ As you complete the Dog Walk, you'll receive one raffle ticket.

    • 🎁 Stay for the prize draw – the winner will be drawn on the day.

    Important:

    • ✅ No pre-registration is required.

    • ✅ You must be present at the event to claim the prize if your ticket is drawn.

Shelly Horton is a presenter on 9 Honey and Channel Nine plus she is proud Mum to 2 rescue dogs, Cherry (black Cavoodle) and a Maui (Silky Cross).
Councillor Naomi is a dedicated advocate for Division 2, passionate about supporting the local community, improving safety and local infrastructure, and making a positive difference. A devoted animal lover, she also champions initiatives that benefit pets, wildlife, and local families.

  • There is plenty of free parking throughout the community village.

  • No, there are no road closures.

  • Make sure you check out a range of market stalls. The market stalls will be open from 10-2.30pm with a range of products for sale including dog treats, dog clothing, pet accessories and many other amazing products.

  • ABSOLUTELY! Attendees can bring their pets as it’s an open space but please ensure they’re in your control and on leads at all times.

  • If you find or lose something – please go to the Ray White tent on the day. After the event, any lost property will be kept at Ray White Sanctuary Cove office for 21 days.

  • Yes, photographers and videographers may be present and by attending this event, you consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, or reproduction of the photographs and/or recordings without restriction or compensation.
